Urvi Alamela is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship. As Director of Operations of the Texas Rocket Engineering Lab (TREL), Urvi commandeered project management efforts and established partnerships with faculty, investors, and industry leaders. After leading various university missions both technically and operationally, Urvi interned at Rocket Lab, designing fluid systems for Neutron. She continued to work on fluid-based analysis at Blue Origin, this time within the New Glenn simulation. In her career, Urvi aims to optimize vehicle production, particularly through automation in fluids and propulsion design. Beyond launch development, Urvi aspires to be an economic contributor to the growing space economy and explore avenues in data collection and orbital resource utilization. Apart from space, Urvi enjoys fashion, art museums, coffee shops, and anything outdoors.
