Oren Minsk is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. On campus, Oren is involved in M51 Space, an organization that provides students the opportunity to pursue hands-on rocketry projects. He co-led the development of the recovery system for an L3 rocket launched at FAR in 2023 and is currently the Combustion Devices Responsible Engineer for a GOX/Paraffin Wax hybrid rocket engine. He also served as a teaching assistant for a sophomore mechanical engineering course. Oren was a technical intern at the Department of Defense this past summer, and he previously was a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Oren is excited to explore the private sector and his passion in the commercial aerospace sector this summer. He is particularly interested in fluid systems and the advancement of propulsion technology. Oren also enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with friends.
