Eileen Duong is a senior at Boston University studying Mechanical Engineering with dual concentrations in Aerospace and Manufacturing. She is interested in human-robot interaction, sustainable space habitation, and space policy. Eileen was a 2023 Brooke Owens Fellow, and interned at Venturi Astrolab, working on the development of the NASA Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services proposal. On campus, she has conducted undergraduate research with the Soft Robotics Control Lab and the Robomorphic Computing Lab. Eileen serves as the President of the Society of Women Engineers and the Vice President of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Boston University. She is also involved with the Technology Innovation Scholars Program, Alpha Sigma Kappa, and the women’s rugby team. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, and volunteering with youth robotics.
