Manwei first pursued his fascination with space through physics. He worked on the CLASS cosmology telescope at Johns Hopkins University. After graduation, he moved to the Atacama Desert in Chile to work as the site technician for the telescope. He returned to the states to study for a Master’s in aerospace engineering at MIT. He hopes to help bring about a new age of on-orbit assembly and manufacturing through his work!
