Rebecca Wang is currently a Master’s student at Stanford University in the Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics. Her current interests are in navigation technology and robotics. Prior to attending Stanford, Rebecca received Bachelor’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin. She has experience in engineering and consulting, most recently completing an internship at SpaceX on the Starship program. Rebecca finds the moments working with her teammates the most rewarding during the tackling of challenging engineering problems, with those in an outer space setting most exciting. She hopes to eventually work in a leadership role and use collaboration on major space engineering feats amongst global superpower nations to influence amicable world relations. In her free time, she enjoys reading, frisbee, playing the piano, and trying new things.
