Loubensky Baine is an Aerospace Engineering student working for the EXCEL program at the University of Central Florida. He expects to graduate in the Spring semester of 2023. In the past, he has had some undergraduate research experience in propulsion. In his research lab, he learned about the creation of hypersonic Detonation to Deflagration waves. His technical experience stems from his previous internship with the Constellation Planning and Analysis (CP&A) team at BlackSky. He is passionate about anything that can fly—airplanes, rockets, helicopters, etc. As a member of the inaugural class of the Patti Grace Smith Fellowship, his being awarded the Matthew Isakowitz Fellowship officially makes him a double fellow.
