Erin Levesque is a senior at the University of Michigan. She will obtain her Bachelor’s degree in May 2022, and will begin her Master’s program in September 2022. At her university, she pursues her passion of rocketry as an active member of the Michigan Aeronautical Science Association, a student-led project team whose goal is to launch the first student-built rocket to reach the Karman Line. On this team, she oversees the design and development of the recovery system, and has also been involved in external aerodynamics CFD analysis, composite manufacturing, and vibrational testing. Additionally, she has enjoyed internships at Siemens Digital Industries Software and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Erin is excited about the role she will play in helping to create a sustainable future for space exploration and human spaceflight. In her free time, Erin enjoys cooking, traveling, watching films, and spending time with friends and family.
