Carson Coursey is a fourth year Aerospace Engineering B.S. student at Georgia Tech. At Georgia Tech, Carson is the President of the Aero Maker Space, an undergraduate research assistant in the Space Systems Design Laboratory, and works part time in the aerospace department as the Assistant to the Lab Manager. In the past, Carson served as President of Georgia Tech Experimental Rocketry and as a teaching assistant in the aerospace machine shop. Carson also enjoys working with the Georgia Space Grant Consortium to inspire K-12 students around Georgia.

Outside of Georgia Tech, Carson enjoyed internships at Northrop Grumman and the United States House of Representatives. At these internships, Carson gained experience both in propulsion and manufacturing engineering and space policy analysis. Carson is extremely passionate about space debris and space traffic management, and hopes to contribute to solving this problem with his engineering and policy experience in this domain. Outside of work, Carson enjoys drumming, reading, backpacking, and biking.
