Ariel Shaver is a Senior at the University of Arizona, pursuing her BS in Systems Engineering. She currently serves as the External Vice President of the UA Society of Women Engineers. She enjoyed the past summer interning with the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab, cementing her interest in answering complex questions about the universe with efficient engineering tools. In her career, Ariel hopes to improve our home planet through small acts of outreach and measurable policy changes. In her free time, she enjoys long walks on the moon and spending time with her family. Ariel is excited to join a group of fellows who share her passion for space exploration!
